Mornings begin with alpenglow on Blackcomb through eleven-foot windows; evenings end in the cedar hot tub under a sky untouched by city light. The interior pairs board-formed concrete with warm oak and wool, and the kitchen is equipped for serious cooking after a day on the hill. The village shuttle stops two hundred metres from the door.
